The Tim Ferriss Show (link iTunes, link website). Tim Ferriss is a self-experimenter and bestselling author, best known for The 4-Hour Workweek. In this show, he deconstructs world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, chess, pro sports, etc.), digging deep to find the tools, tactics, and tricks that listeners can use. His podcast is generally the #1 business podcast on all of iTunes. I especially liked his podcast with Seth Godin, Tony Robbins, Noah Kagan (ex Facebook) and Kevin Kelly on A.I and the future. Listen also to the story of Ricardo Semler and his radical management style.
How I Built This (link iTunes, link website). How I Built This is a podcast about innovators, entrepreneurs, and idealists, and the stories behind the movements they built. Each episode is a narrative journey marked by triumphs, failures, serendipity and insight — told by the founders of some of the world’s best known companies and brands. If you’ve ever built something from nothing, something you really care about — or even just dream about it. Some of the best podcasts include the founders of Instagram, Airbnb, Virgin (Richard Branson), Crate & Barrel, Power Rangers and AOL.
The Productivity Show (link iTunes, link website). Learn everything about time management, life hacks, productivity and getting things done (GTD). A weekly podcast that teaches you tips, techniques and habits for fighting procrastination, staying motivated, managing your email, inbox zero, eat that frog and the Pomodoro Technique. This podcast also shares which productivity apps, tools, systems and platforms experts use to stay productive and efficient. You will also find out the best way to set goals, organize your todo list, calendar and your files, folders and documents.
